Winter weather is when your Nissan's tires need attention most

Inclement winter weather takes its toll, both on Nissans and on their owners. When you've spent hours shoveling snow and even more hours stuck in cold and slippery traffic jams, it's easy to keep moving your vehicle maintenance to the bottom of your to-do list.

Tire pressure: as the outside temperature goes down, so does the pressure in your tires. With the severe cold that we've seen lately around Philadelphia, tires are being subjected to temperatures we're not used to. So what would normally be just a little difference in tire pressure is magnified by the added cold, and this could mean your tires don't have the proper inflation to perform at their best. Take the time to check the tire pressure regularly and correct it. Tire inflation recommendations are found on the driver's side door jamb of your car. And don't forget to check the spare, too!
