The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the completely redesigned 2014 Nissan Rogue a "Top Safety Pick Plus" vehicle safety rating, the group's highest-available ranking. The 2014 Rogue scored "Good" in all five "Top Safety Pick" categories and earned "Top Safety Pick Plus" status with a basic rating for front crash prevention for models equipped with optional Forward Collision Warning.
The IIHS notes that the Rogue, which you can see and test drive at Conicelli Nissan in Conshohocken, includes important safety features as standard equipment:
- Side airbags: head curtain airbags for all three rows of seats (when equipped with 3rd row) and front seat-mounted torso airbags
- Rollover sensor: designed to deploy the side curtain airbags in the event of an impending rollover
- Electronic stability control
- Antilock brakes
- Daytime running lights
