Cars.com, in a report on their website, ranked 11 cars on their affordability, and the 2013 Nissan Sentra SV was named Most Affordable Compact Sedan.
All of the competing cars had a popular set of options, including automatic transmission, cruise control, USB input, remote entry, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and steering wheel audio controls.
Taking into account purchase price and anticipated fuel cost for five years, Cars.com calculated that the 2013 Nissan Sentra SV had the lowest total cost of the 11 cars tested: "Nissan's redesigned 2013 Sentra comes out on top", they stated. The combination of low price and great fuel economy were too potent for the competition to beat.
