While maintaining high standards of excellence in the automotive business, the Conicelli family actively participates in community projects and events.

Conicelli Nissan Extends Contest

Conicelli Nissan's wildly successful Mr. Nice Guy magnet contest has been extended through March 31, 2010.

Vehicles bearing the magnets have been spotted in locations such as Philadelphia, King of Prussia, Malvern, West Chester, Lafayette Hill, and Norristown,  to Lansdale, Doylestown, Cherry Hill, Delaware, and even south Jersey!

Winners have received various prizes just for displaying the signature magnet on their vehicle, and being spotted by a member of the Conicelli Management team. Some participants have enjoyed being videotaped by the Conicellicam as they receive their prize. Videos are posted on the Conicelli YouTube channel.

Conicelli Nissan is offering the magnets free of charge. No purchase is necessary to enter the I Spy Mr. Nice Guy Contest. A magnet can be obtained by coming into new car showroom, service department, or body shop, or by email, and simply asking for a free "I Spy Mr. Nice Guy" magnet.

The participants have to have an "I Spy Mr. Nice Guy" magnet displayed on the exterior of their vehicle. If a member of the Conicelli management team spies an "I Spy Mr. Nice Guy" magnet on a vehicle, the owner is contacted and has the opportunity to receive a gift card as a prize.

Complete rules can be found by clicking on any of the gamepiece buttons visible throughout this website, or contact Lori Hammond, Internet Director of Sales, 610-828-1400, ext. 1208.

Nissan Cube Makes Forbes' Safest 2010 Small Cars Short List

The 2010 Nissan Cube has made Forbes' list of the Safest 2010 Small Cars.

To compile the list, the editors used crash test data from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Front tests involved a 40-mph frontal offset crash with an aluminum barrier, where 40 percent of the width of the vehicle struck the barrier on the driver's side. Side crash tests were a 31-mph T-bone impact, and side tests assessed occupant protection when vehicles were struck in the side by SUVs or pickups. Rollover ratings
and rear crash/head restraint ratings were also considered.

The Nissan Cube has also been listed by the IIHS as a Top Safety Pick for 2010. Read more about Cube.

Nissan offers incentives on the new 2010 Cube, which are available through Conicelli Nissan. View available offers.

Conicelli Nissan| First PA Auto Body Shop Certified for PPG/Waterborne Use

Conicelli Nissan is the first Pennsylvania auto body shop to be certified for PPG/Waterborne use.

Using PPG's waterborne paint helps improve the environment. For a shop that mixes an average of one gallon of basecoat per week, using waterborne automotive paint reduces the emission of VOCs (Volatile organic compounds) by 300 pounds annually.
That's the same as eliminating the emissions of more than 1,000 cars per year.
At Conicelli this process eliminates appx.18,000 lbs. of VOC?s annually, that would otherwise end up in our atmosphere. That compares to the emissions of 60,000 cars.

Global Finishing Systems Auto Painting

By controlling the speed of the motors for optimum performance, a VFD (variable frequency drive) provides huge energy savings that were previously unattainable.
All heated booths at Conicelli Body Shop include single or dual VFDs for better performance and energy savings.
By using Orion?s leading-edge lighting products, Conicelli saves energy and reduces by 66 percent the amount of harmful greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere.

Conicelli Service Shops

We recycle approximately 4200 tires a year, the material of which is then used in athletic and recreational areas, alternate fuel sources, and rubber mulch for landscaping.
Ground up tires even find their way back to your car in the form of automotive parts, like exhaust hangers, brake pads, brake shoes, and acoustic insulation; a low percentage goes into making new tires.
We recycle approximately 1400 car batteries per year, of which nearly 100% of the raw materials are used for other products. (Glass cleaner, new plastic cases, etc.)
We collect approximately 10 tons of cardboard materials annually to be recycled.
This reduces the demand for new paper from virgin pulp, thereby saving trees and decreasing the amount of pollution generated in new paper production. Also because cardboard is such a bulky waste, recycling it saves significant amounts of space in landfills and reduces pollution in areas where trash is incinerated.
Annually Conicelli shops recycle appx. 53,000 gallons of motor oil via Lorco Petroleum Services, thus converting it into fuel oil that not only meets but exceeds USEPA standards.

At Conicelli Nissan we are committed to reducing our footprint on the environment while still providing superior service

Conicelli Nissan Provides Info on Zero Emissions Nissan Leaf

On Earth Day of this year, Nissan exhibited a prototype of its new electric vehicle, the Nissan Leaf, in Franklin, Tennessee. Earlier this year Nissan launched the Nissan Green Program in order to "contribute to the creation of a sustainable mobile society". (source:http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/ENVIRONMENT/GREENPROGRAM_2010/) On June 23, 2009, the US Department of Energy conditionally approved a $1.6 billion loan to Nissan North America, Inc. to modify its Smyrna, Tenn., manufacturing plant to produce zero-emissions vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf and the battery packs that will power them.

Much information about plans for the upcoming Leaf model is available on Nissan's website. Conicelli Nissan has compiled a summary of Nissan North America's press releases and information at  http://www.conicellinissan.com/all-new-nissan-leaf.htm.

All information and illustrations on this website are based upon currently available information and are subject to change as final design for the LEAF has not yet been released.
